According to sources, a San Diego man suffered a serious head injury while riding his motorized scooter.
Police reported that the unidentified 38-year-old man suffered a severe head injury after crashing and falling from his motorized scooter in Rancho Penasquitos. San Diego officer Frank Cali said the crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 12600 block of Darkwood Road. The man was rushed to a local hospital by paramedics where he was treated for his head injuries.
