The Dangers of Rollover Accidents

Rollover accidents are some of the most dangerous types of accidents in which an individual can be involved. Rollovers typically have a higher fatality rate than other types of crashes. According to statistics, rollover crashes account for 33 percent of fatal crashes and lead to over 10,000 deaths each year.

What Causes Rollover Crashes?

Research shows that some vehicles, particularly taller and narrower vehicles like SUVs and trucks, are more likely to rollover than passenger cars. However, there are many factors that can cause a rollover crash, including:

  • Speeding
  • Debris in the road
  • A blown tire
  • Impaired driving

If you have been involved in a rollover crash that you believe is the fault of another driver, it is crucial that you speak with a personal injury attorney.
