Three Pedestrians Hurt in Traffic Accident
A recent pedestrian crash injured three people at once in Carlsbad, California. According to police reports, the three pedestrians were walking down the Old Coast Central Highway in Carlsbad. At around midnight, a car struck them all and they were seriously injured. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash at 12:46 a.m. north of Walnut Avenue on the 3200 block of Carlsbad Boulevard.
One of the pedestrians, who had suffered the most serious injuries, was immediately taken by helicopter to a local hospital and the other two, a 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, were taken by ambulance to the hospital, police Cpl. Mike Bolton said. The driver of the vehicle, a 49-year-old woman, remained at the site of the crash and was not immediately arrested as police were investigating who was at fault.
