For decades, Dan Gilleon has been fighting for his clients with exceptional intensity and passion. Dan Gilleon was born in Florida but came to California when his father, a Disney “Imagineer,” was promoted to Disney’s mothership. Dan Gilleon graduated from high school in Los Angeles and then joined the US Navy at 17 years old. After his four year enlistment, Mr. Gilleon attended college at UCSD, and then California Western School of Law on an academic scholarship. He graduated from law school with Law Review and cum laude honors.

Anna Yum

Anna Yum practices both civil litigation and criminal defense. Specifically, Ms. Yum handles a variety of personal injury cases including general negligence, motor vehicle accidents, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. In addition, Ms. Yum handles employment cases involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

Prior to opening her law practice, Law Offices of Anna R. Yum, Ms. Yum gained invaluable experience as a prosecutor at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure at the District Attorney’s office, Ms. Yum was promoted very quickly and she conducted dozens of jury trials. Ms. Yum’s hard work and talent did not go unnoticed as she garnered several accolades including a nomination for Misdemeanor Deputy District Attorney of the Year and Employee of the Month on several occasions.

Ms. Yum graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications Studies and International Studies. She graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2005 whereby she was inducted into the prestigious Order of Barristers, a national organization which recognizes the best oral advocates in her graduating class. While in law school, Ms. Yum served as a judicial extern for Senior Federal Court Judge Robert M. Takasugi, United States District Court, Central District of California.

James C. Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell’s area of practice has always been civil litigation. He has tried approximately 50 jury trials and around 200 plus court trials and arbitrations, as well as handling all aspects of over 43 appeals. This consists of plaintiff’s personal injury, legal malpractice, employment, business and real property cases, including insurance bad faith and coverage cases. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the Louis M. Welsh Inns of Court.

Mr. Mitchell has had a preeminent peer review AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell for a number of years.

Samuel Clemens

Samuel A. Clemens joined the firm in 2013 and has been handling personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, sexual abuse, sexual assault, and general negligence. Mr. Clemens also handles a variety of employment cases including wrongful termination, breach of contract, harassment, discrimination and retaliation cases under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, Private Attorney General Act actions for Labor Code violations, and Title VII and Title IX cases.

Sam graduated from San Diego State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Sam interned at the United States Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee, where he assisted DOJ litigation attorneys in their mission of overseeing the administration of bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Clemens is admitted to the California Bar and practices in the Superior Court of California and the U.S. District Court. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, North County Bar Association, and Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.

Manuel Corrales

Manuel Corrales, Jr., is has been practicing law in California since 1985, specializing in employment litigation, civil trial litigation and appellate work. Soon after graduating from Brigham Young University Law School, Mr. Corrales clerked for the Hon. H. Vern Payne, Chief Justice of the New Mexico Supreme Court. Early in his career, Mr. Corrales worked for two well-established insurance defense law firms in San Diego County, and thereafter worked with a law firm specializing in representing plaintiffs in civil lawsuits. Over the years, Mr. Corrales has had over 75 jury and non-jury trials. He has successfully handled to conclusion complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, employment litigation, product defects, commercial business disputes, and wildfire litigation. He presently handles disputes involving Indian law and related litigation, and represents a federally-recognized Indian tribe in California as its sole attorney. He has also successfully obtained numerous reversals on appeal for his clients in connection with his appellate work. Mr. Corrales was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force, after serving four years active duty prior to college.

Mr. Corrales holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do martial arts, and currently trains intensively in martial arts and kickboxing and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt Instructor.

Frank S. Clowney III

Frank S. Clowney III has been practicing law in San Diego for over forty-two years. He has prosecuted cases in the Superior Court of California, the United States District Court and various administrative agencies. Mr. Clowney has focused on employment law since 1990. He has put his problem solving skills to use helping others who are in distress because of either employment problems or an injury.
